The 19th European Wushu Championships will take place in Stockholm from 3-5 March. Arutyunjan Adelaida – our youngest top competitor! – will represent the Dragon Sword Association alone in modern wushu!

Despite her age (only seven years old!) she is training very hard alongside her much older teammates. She is a three-time Hungarian Champion, several international competitions medalist, participant of the 2023 World Kungfu Championships, and the youngest member of the Hungarian national kungfu team.

In 2023, at the World Kungfu Championships in Emeishan, China, there were not enough competitors in her age group, so Adelaida had to compete with athletes a few years older than her and finished 10th in a category of 20 competitors.

Help us get Adelaida to the European Championships so this tiny fighter can compete in modern wushu! It won't be easy for her – she will again be one of the youngest participants, competing with older girls.
